Nuhertz is proud to be a recognized partner of other leading technology companies in facilitating the designs and implementation of RF Filter circuits. Below are brief descriptions of three companies that utilize our software solutions in support of their products:
ANSYS is the leading provider of electromagnetic field, circuit and system electronic cooling simulation software for the design of high-performance electronic equipment. Companies throughout the world rely on ANSYS software to solve thermal integrity, mechanical reliability, signal integrity, power integrity and EMI challenges in IC, package and PCB and perform power optimization in custom IC’s. Ansys develops open and flexible simulation solutions that enable users to simulate design performance directly on the desktop, providing a common platform for fast, efficient and cost-effective product development, from design concept to final-stage testing and performance validation. Engineers rely on ANSYS to achieve first-pass system success when designing mobile communication devices, broadband networking components and systems, integrated circuits (ICs), printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electromechanical systems. One of the world’s leading suppliers of inductors has joined with Nuhertz Technologies to provide a FilterSolutions synthesis tool on the Coilcraft website. The Coilcraft LC Filter Designer can be downloaded at www.coilcraft.com/lc.
This free software lets engineers design filters whose response is realized using Coilcraft inductors. The Nuhertz FilterSolutions® program simulates the performance of a small order elliptic lumped element filter using s-parameter data for various Coilcraft inductor families. The program outputs a schematic and a list of the specific part numbers needed to realize the filter performance. A button makes it easy to request free samples that Coilcraft will ship the same day.
Founded in 1945 and headquartered near Chicago, Coilcraft manufactures high performance, tight tolerance magnetic components including RF chip inductors, power magnetics and filters. Surveys consistently rank Coilcraft as the #1 favorite of engineers thanks to the company’s easy-to-use web site, powerful selection and comparison tools, liberal free sample policy, and responsive technical support.
Nuhertz®, in partnership with CST, provides the ability to integrate filter synthesis with a full-wave 3-dimensional electromagnetic analysis tool. Working with CST STUDIO SUITE®, a new capability in analytic tool integration is now available.
CST develops and markets high performance software for the simulation of electromagnetic fields in all frequency bands. Its success is based on the implementation of leading edge technology in a user-friendly interface. CST’s customers are market leaders in industries as diverse as Telecommunications, Defense, Automotive, Electronics, and Medical Equipment. Today CST employs 190 sales, development, and support personnel, and enjoys a market share of over 30% in high frequency 3D-EM simulation.
CST STUDIO SUITE is the culmination of many years of research and development into the most accurate and efficient computational solutions for electromagnetic designs. It comprises CST’s tools for the design and optimization of devices operating in a wide range of frequencies: static to optical. Analyses may include thermal and mechanical effects, as well as circuit simulation.
CST STUDIO SUITE benefits from an integrated design environment which gives access to the entire range of solver technology. system assembly and modeling, and facilitates multi-physics and co-simulation as well as the management of entire electromagnetic systems. CST STUDIO SUITE can offer considerable product to market advantages such as: shorter development cycles, virtual prototyping before physical trials, and optimization instead of experimentation.

Dr. Mühlhaus Consulting & Software GmbH is specialized in accurate RF & microwave simulation. Consulting offerings include design and simulation of high frequency PCB layouts, filters and PCB antennas in the frequency range up to 24GHz. In addition to PCB technology, the company also offer EM simulation and passive component design for RFIC and LTCC technologies.
Nuhertz Technologies has provided the capability to optimize synthesized filter circuits with the use of Modelithics® component models. In conjunction with Modelithics, the model library now included in National Instruments-AWR Corporation’s Microwave Office®, provides the designer access to a tested set of physically meaningful and highly scalable component models. This capability, in turn, provides a uniquely powerful new fast way to create fully producible circuits with the advantages of Nuhertz’s FilterSolutions designs.
MODELITHICS, INC. is a leading-edge technology company providing comprehensive RF/MW measurement services, and highly scalable, accurate, measurement-based models of RF/MW components. Over 500 models for passive and active devices and system-level components (representing over 10,000 individual parts) are now available in Modelithics libraries, which install as specialized design kits in multiple popular EDA software tools.
